On April 8-9, the 20th China Electrical Automation and Electric Control System Academic Conference, hosted by Hefei University of Technology, was successfully held in Hefei. Xuedong Chen and Qingxue Huang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Lei Zheng, President of Hefei University of Technology, Yi Han, Secretary General of the China Electrotechnical Society, Dianguo Xu, former President of Harbin Institute of Technology, and Wei Zhao, Senior Vice President of Sungrow, along with other experts and scholars, were invited to attend.
At the opening ceremony, President Lei Zheng extended a warm welcome on behalf of Hefei University of Technology to all the leaders, guests, and experts and scholars participating in this conference. He expressed sincere gratitude for their long-term care and support for the university's development. He stated that this conference, where experts exchange ideas, share their wisdom, and discuss achievements, will further advance the development of electrical-related disciplines and promote the integration of industry, academia, and research to help achieve the goal of "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" as scheduled.
At the special invited presentation session, eight renowned experts including Academician Xuedong Chen and Academician Qingxue Huang delivered excellent keynote speeches. During the corporate entrepreneurship salon session, five industry experts respectively introduced the latest advancements in energy storage, power testing, device thermal dissipation, thin film capacitors, and other areas. Concurrently, 189 scholars at eight separate sub-venues also shared their individual research achievements.
The conference was jointly organized by the Committee of China Electrotechnical Society Control Systems and Devices (CESCS), the Committee of Chinese Association of Automation Electrical Automation (CAAEA), and the editorial department of "Electric Drive". Its aim was to promote technological innovation and progress in the electrical automation and control systems industry in China, facilitate academic and technical exchanges among peers, and enhance collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application. Over 300 scholars and experts from various universities and enterprises across the country participated in the conference.
